(from OrlandoSentinel.com) – A lot of young women in Central Florida like “The Vampire Diaries,” “Gossip Girl” and “America’s Next Top Model.”

They made WKCF-Ch. 18 the top CW affiliate in the country in attracting females 18 to 34 during May.

Why is that a big deal? Because reaching women 18-to-34 is the CW’s goal, and the Central Florida affiliate is leading the way.

“We are proud of our No. 1 ranking, which is a reflection of the strength of our station in Central Florida,” WKCF General Manager Jim Carter said in a statement. “The CW network’s strategy to develop high-quality programming that targets this audience is paying off.”….Cont….
