(from OrlandoSentinel.com) – In the March ratings, WFTV-Channel 9 continued to win many news time slots. But WKMG-Channel 6, which had the most viewers overall at 11 p.m.
WKMG posted gains in many time slots while competitors were generally down from a year ago. The station’s “Getting Results” branding may be paying dividends.
WFTV continued to lead by any measurement from 4 to 6:30 p.m. in the ratings period. At 6 p.m. in the 25-to-54 age group, WFTV averaged 20,283 viewers.
WKMG moved into second with 12,470. They were followed by WESH-Channel 2 with 11,503 and WOFL-Channel 35 with 5,731. But WKMG’s rating was up 50 percent while WFTV was off 30 percent, WESH was down 50 percent and WOFL declined 20 percent….Cont….
