More news on WJXT…
Jacksonville’s WJXT announced last week that it would start it’s am newscast thirty minutes earlier, at 4:30am. The new earlier news trend is sweeping stations around Florida and across the nation. Tampa’s WTVT, Orlando’s WESH and West Palm Beach’s WPBF have announced 4:30am newscasts in the past year. With the 4:30am addition, WJXT is now broadcasting 8.5 hours of news per 24hour day.
