(from OrlandoSentinel.com) – Daralene Jones, a top reporter at WFTV-Channel 9 on the Trayvon Martin story, is departing the station next month. She will be a reporter at WCAU, the NBC-owned station in Philadelphia, the No. 4 TV market.
Jones worked for five years at ABC affiliate WFTV in Orlando, the No. 19 market. Dec. 18 will be her last day on the air here.
“Working at a news organization like WFTV is a journalist’s dream,” she said Friday. “We do real news here that matters and effects change. The management team forces you to challenge yourself, and if you are open to growth, there are no limits on your potential.”….Cont….
