(from OrlandoSentinel.com) – WFTV-Channel 9 has hired a new weekend meteorologist. George Waldenberger will join the ABC affiliate Jan. 16.
He is coming to Orlando from KSHB, the NBC affiliate in Kansas City. Waldenberger, a certified meteorologist, also has worked in Tulsa and Sioux City. He has degrees in geological engineering and geology from the University of Wisconsin and a master’s degree in atmospheric and oceanic sciences from UCLA….Cont….
