(from OrlandoSentinel.com) – WKMG-Channel 6 has found its newest anchor in St. Petersburg.
Ginger Gadsden joins Orlando’s CBS affiliate on June 16. She will co-anchor the station’s new 5:30 p.m. newscast with Matt Austin and solo anchor at 7 p.m. That 5:30 p.m. newscast debuts July 7.
She was a morning anchor at WTSP-Channel 10, the CBS affiliate in St. Petersburg, for seven years. She left that station in June last year when her contract was up and told that Tampa Bay Times then that she had tired of the morning shift.
