(from OrlandoSentinel.com) – Reporter Kendra Oestreich is leaving WESH-Channel 2. She has been with the station since January 2007, and her final day is Friday. She is going to KXAS, the NBC-owned station in Dallas.
“We have begun an immediate, nationwide search for her replacement,” WESH news director Bob Longo said.
Reporter Chris Trenkmann’s final day at WKMG-Channel 6 was Friday. He had been at the CBS affiliate for nine years. He has worked in the market for 15 years, including stints at Central Florida News 13 and WDBO radio.
Chris Trenkmann has worked in the Central Florida market for 15 years.
“I’m looking forward to the next opportunity. I had a great ride,” Trenkmann told me today. “I’m open to the best opportunity in the future. Orlando is where my heart is. I would welcome working in this place.”….Cont….
