(edited from HerladTribune.com) - Local television station SNN will add a digital, over-the-air broadcast to its cable offerings on Oct. 15.
Citadel Communications, which has owned SNN since January, decided to merge SNN with an existing digital TV station and create one with the call letters WSNN-LD.
As a result, WSNN will become available to 25,000 more homes that do not have cable or satellite services.
The station will continue to be seen on its current cable channels: Verizon channel 26 and 526, Comcast channel 6 in Sarasota, channel 11 in Charlotte County, and channel 400 in HD in Sarasota and Charlotte counties.
